Kindly Evil Chapter 5 (Final Chapter)

"The phantom king! He has a big book he stole from Mira with spells that extract the spirits." Cosmo and Peck looked at the phantom a while again. "How are we going to get it? The phantom king wouldn't help anyone, nevermind an alpha!", Peck said. The phantom rolled it's eyes. "There's only ONE way. Steal it. After all, it's the jammers' anyway." Peck and Cosmo thanked the phantom, paid it a few gems for its help, and headed up towards the top of the castle. The phantom king was sound asleep. "We couldn't have gotten here at a better time", Cosmo whispered. Just then, the phantom king awoken. "WHAT are you two doing here? Oh, Cosmo. And Peck. I have a bone to pick with you two." Peck saw a thick brown book in a dusty corner of the tower, and leaped towards it, grabbed it, and ran downwards to the bottom floor of the tower. Cosmo ran along with Peck. "Oh, a SERIOUS bone that is!", the phantom king shouted as he went after the alphas, zapping at them. All of a sudden, when they reached the first floor, the locked up phantom burnt its dungeon cell down with its electricity and zapped the king unconctious. Peck and Cosmo stared for a minute. "Nobody would ever believe this! A phantom saved our lives." Peck said, purely amazed. The phantom smiled. "My name is Thunder, thank you." Cosmo and Peck smiled back. "We must repay you! I know - we'll take you away from this place and give you a nice home in Jamaa.", Cosmo said. He, Thunder, and Peck went to Cosmo's house. "I have an idea - Cosmo, you're good with plants. Plant Thunder some fruits and vegetables, I'll dig him a burrow" Peck said. Peck dug her paws into the ground and created a 3-room burrow for Thunder, and Cosmo planted Thunder some food. "Thank you so much!" Thunder said, racing into his new burrow. Peck and Cosmo gave eachother a high-five. "Now, time to extract the spirit." Peck said, looking through the book. She went to the S section and found Spirit Stones. "Hmm... it says we must read the spell together. It takes two buddies to release the spirit." Peck said. So Cosmo and Peck read the spell alloud. "Abaray, abaray. Su mandre da nesa, en padre en padre", they chanted. The blue ball turned clear, and the ball disappeared. But the ball left behind a tiny female fawn! "So, Jamaa now has deer. All thanks to a phantom!" Peck laughed. Cosmo smiled. And that is how deer arrived in Jamaa!

Kindly Evil Chapter 4

Cosmo lead Peck through a forest full of tall trees and vines. Every so often a monkey would swing by, or a fox would dive into a hole. Finally, they reached a huge castle. No, not what you're thinking of. Not a pretty tower with shining marble walls and a drawbridge. A large castle with drooping towers and darkened stone walls. The castle looked as if it was haunted. Well, this castle wasn't exactly haunted. It was where the phantoms roamed. "Here's where the phantoms live. Does this place look friendly to you?", Cosmo said. Peck sighed. "I'm going in." "Wait-" But it was too late. Cosmo scrambled after Peck, the drawbridge creaking as he ran into the castle. It was very dark inside, this floor looked like a dungeon. There were tons of cells everywhere, with something or someone locked up behind it. One cell had rares locked up behind it, and others had jammers. Peck looked around. "Come here!", she yelped. "Quiet, they might hear us!" Cosmo replied, as he looked at what Peck found. There was a phantom behind a cell. Were phantoms locking up there own kind? Cosmo tried talking to it. "Huh, why are you behind here?" He said, though he wasn't sure phantoms spoke. "They locked me up because I secretly helped jammers. Hah, but yesterday I got revenge! I gave the spirit stone they stole back to an alpha! Haha!" Peck and Cosmo stared at the phantom for a long time. Peck was the first to speak up. "I'm the alpha you gave the spirit stone to. The only thing is, I don't have the powers to extract the spirit from the stone and free the animal into Jamaa." The phantom thought for a while. "Aha, I know who can help you!"
What will happen next? Here's a riddle on Chapter 5!
I am the darkest of phantoms
In fact, they worship me
For I am the evillest of the evil
And the mightiest of the mighty
I wouldn't help a single jammer
But I have a book
That could help extract the spirit
If you gave it a look.

Can you guess who can help Peck extract the spirit?
See you later! Check back soon for another chapter, and another mystery!

How to Have a Jamaa Camp-Out!

The air is fresh, and the leaves blow around. It's autumn, so you sadly can't camp anymore. That's what most think when the thought of camping in the fall comes to mind. But no - you can camp without leaving the warmth of your home in Jamaa! Here's the stepping stones to camping in the cold!

1. Fix up your outfit! You want to look like a camper, right? Camouflauge boots with a blanket and leaf necklace work well with an old hood. For nonmembers, use freedom bands with a regular necklace and an old blanket with an old hood.

2. Plan where you will camp. If your den has a big lawn or a very naturey lawn, choose your den. You can also camp at Mt. Shiveer, Sarepia Forest, and Crystal Sands.

3. If you're camping in the lawn of your den, put down a beach towel and pillows to be a sleeping bag. You can also use a spiderweb hammock. If you're camping in one of the Jamaa lands, find a nice spot like next to the Mt. Shiveer fire, near the recycle bin at Sarepia Forest, and on a beach towel at Crystal Sands.

4. Find some food! Sarepia Forest is full of deer, and Mt. Shiveer has oxen. Crystal Sands is perfect for fishing!

5. Snuggle into your sleeping bag or nice spot, put your blanket on, and fall asleep! Preferably with popcorn from Sarepia, hot cocoa from Mt. Shiveer, or a smoothie from Crystal Sands!

6. You can do this with buddies, too! It can make it a lot less boring. There's tons of improvises you could do, longer than I could type. So I guess this is the end!

See you later alligator! Until then, have a funtastic camp out!

Ideas to Get in the Thanksgiving Spirit in Jamaa

It's almost time for Thanksgiving! Here's some ideas I thought you might like.

  • If you're member, get a dessert table or feast table. If you're nonmember, put some teacups and fruit bowls on a table. Set some chairs around the table, and when it turns Thanksgiving have a feast with your buddies! Click the food to "eat" it and chat with your buddies.
  • Buy a mushroom hut and fill it with piles of leaves! Hide plushies behind the leaves, and have jammers find the plushies to win them!
  • Put some plants around your den like the Native Americans grew their crops, and set up mushroom tables with mushroom chairs and fruit bowls in a mushroom hut den. Scatter leaf piles outside and add an epic seasonal tree. For the bedroom, use an orange or yellow bed with a Maple Leaf Rug. Add an orange coffee table with an acorn tea set, and you have a Thanksgiving den!
  • Complete the Thanksgiving spirit with a Thanksgiving look! Wear a pilgrim hat with yellow leaf bracelets and a leaf necklace, and finish it off with a bow and arrows or worn blanket.
  • Gather some buddies and play a game. Start off with one saying "I am thankful for _____ (for example, I am thankful for Jamaa)" The next says, "I am thankful for Jamaa and animals." Go on, and if someone forgets what to say or can't think of something to be thankful of, they're out. The last one in gets the prize.
See you later! In the meantime, have a jamtastic day in the Thanksgiving spirit!

Member-Only Adoption

You just ran out of your membership time, so you're a bit down. But of course, that can't stop you from adopting at Jamaa's adoption center, the Pillow Room! The autumn air is crisp, and scents of leaves and pumpkins fill it. You enter the adoption center and - gasp! The cutest little white bunny with a tiara and pink heart pattern is sleeping on a green pillow. She's SO CUTE! You want to adopt her so bad, so you go up to her and say, "I adopt you, cutie!" The bunny just straight out says members only. A few minutes later, she says yes to an arctic wolf wishing to adopt her.
There's a few problems with this I'm going to point out.

1. What would you feel like if you wanted to adopt someone, but they just said "members only" and walked away? Yeah, bad. Then why are you doing it to them? Oh, SURE. Nonmembers don't give you a lot of attention, yet members have a big den with colored furniture, and they "love you more". SURE. I have been adopted by nonmembers, and every single one has been really nice. You know why? Because they BARELY get to adopt.

2. Sure, you DO have to be careful about which nonmember adopts you. Some don't know what they're doing because they're new. That's why we have the buddy team,  to introduce them to things and help them fit in, while giving them a friend at the same time. That's why the buddy team has goals.

3. Most people say members only because they want the attention from members. Most members-only kids pretend to be sick all the time, and are really harsh on their parents. They say things like, "cant fall asleep at all has bad dreams every time i fall asleep", "gets worst sickness in jamaa nothing can cure", "breaks leg (they say this ALL the time)", and "needs fox hat or will be sick forever!" Seriously, you have nothing better to do than make someone's life hard? Oh, you do have better things to do? That's what I thought.

Sorry for my long rant, it's just very annoying when this happens. It's not even mean anymore, it's happened so often it's just annoying.
See you later! Until then, please be fairer to nonmembers!

Kindly Evil Chapter 3

Cosmo's eyes widened, looking as if they would burst. "Phantom? Peck, a phantom isn't so nice it would lead a new animal to the safety of Jamaa. There's no such thing." Peck rolled her eyes impatiently. "Cosmo, what other substance is so evil? Durrrrr..." Well, I guess Cosmo was a bit right. Phantoms are the most evil substance in Jamaa. Why would they be so sweet and lead an animal in danger to the safety of jammers and alphas? Cosmo thought for a minute. Phantoms aren't nice, but what if one was? Cosmo shook his head at himself. Nonsense! "We are finding whoever left that stone, if it's the last thing I do! I know phantoms wouldn't leave a spirit stone with you!" Cosmo chanted, getting more impatient the more he spoke. Peck thought for a minute. "Aha! Wouldn't that explain why they left it with me? They have no idea that Liza and Mira are the only ones who can extract the spirit." Cosmo agreed. Maybe the phantom was trying to do some sort of hocus-pocus evil, and accidently left a spirit stone instead. Well, whatever the phantoms did, they were going to have to find the phantoms. And Cosmo knew exactly where the phantoms would be.

What will happen next? Here's a riddle on Chapter 4!
You may see us in a darkly evil place.
This place was seen in the great escape.
I have been locked away for being kind
But I made payback, from my strong mind

Can you guess where the phantoms are?

Kindly Evil Chapter 2

Who would leave a spirit stone with Peck? Most spirit stones were retrieved by Liza and Mira, since they were the wisest and most powerful animals in Jamaa. Peck didn't know what to do. Liza and Mira were the only ones she knew of with the powers to extract spirits from spirit stones, and Liza was away bringing the alphas information about ways to keep phantoms from coming into Jamaa. Peck wasn't going to let a spirit stone slip her mind. Maybe another alpha would know what to do. Cosmo got up around this time, since he gets up to talk with his herbs about useful medicines made of herbs. Peck went over to Cosmo's Treehouse, carrying the spirit stone in her paw. Of course, Cosmo was outside his treehouse talking with his herbs. "Cosmo! Somebody left a spirit stone outside earlier. I don't know who left it, or how to extract the spirit from the stone!", Peck cried as she entered Cosmo's front lawn. Cosmo's eyes widened. "What kind of animal would leave a spirit stone with someone other than Liza or Mira?" Cosmo asked. "That's what I was thinking!", Peck replied. Cosmo tapped his head, thinking hard. "Aha! I know who has this type of knowledge. Peck, come meet this little herb. It may be a leaf, but it has knowledge of its own." Peck followed Cosmo into his herb garden, watching as Cosmo talked with the herb. Of course, Peck didn't have the incredible gift to know what the herb was saying, but Cosmo did. "It doesn't know how you can extract the spirit, but it gave me a clue on who left it.", Cosmo said. He wasn't very impressed with the information he got. "Tell me! Now! Tell me!" Peck chanted. "Okay, okay. It said it was the darkest creature of Jamaa, and it comes out each year on this day to hide spirit stones." Peck thought. Of course, Liza did find the monkey today a few years ago, and Mira found the wolf today a decade ago.. But what about the darkest creature of Jamaa? Then a thought hit Peck. She looked Cosmo straight in the eyes and said, "Phantoms."
What will happen next? Here's a riddle on chapter 3!
They say we are mean
I guess we don't give the best deeds.
They say we are cold.
I guess we're not happy and bold.
But I am one who does not fit this description
I don't do all the disruption I am blamed for
I am not the cold heart I am framed for

Can you guess who will extract the spirit from the stone for Peck?

See you later! Check back soon for another chapter, and another mystery!

Kindly Evil

The sun was rising in Jamaa, and Peck was inside, staring at the window so she could get inspiration for her painting of the sunset. She just figured out that by painting a light gray layer of watercolor over her paintings, she could add a dark and spooky effect! Peck thought this was perfect for Halloween. Peck heard the doorbell of her small Mushroom Hut ring, so she went to the door and looked outside. No one was there but a flash of color fading behind the tall maple trees, but there was something left on her doorstep. It was a pumpkin, a perfect pumpkin. Not too wide, not too skinny, round with no bruises. "Aww, one of my buddies left me the cutest pumpkin. I'll have to carve it later", she said to herself. Peck went back to finishing her painting, wondering who left it. Most of her friends wouldn't wake up this early. In fact, most of them were late sleepers. The only early bird Peck knew was Sir Gilbert, but Peck and Sir Gilbert were barely friends, and Sir Gilbert only woke up early so he could go to Alpha Battle Practice with Greely. As Peck finally finished her spooky yet amazing painting, she picked up the pumpkin and got her carving tools out. Who left that pumpkin? The thought could not leave her mind. Peck carved a hole on top of the pumpkin, and reached in to dig out the guts. There were no guts in the pumpkin. What? Peck was puzzled. She looked down, and saw a glowing rock inside the pumpkin. The rock was all sorts of pinks, oranges, purples, and reds on the inside. "Maybe a geode. A glowing geode? That grows inside a... perfect pumpkin?" Peck thought about it, more puzzled than ever. She held the rock in her hand, and used the carving tools for the pumpkin to cut the geode into slices. Maybe she could sell them for gems, or cut them into shapes for a really cool collage. She started cutting the geode, and realized it wasn't a geode at all. In the center of the rock was a bouncy ball. It glowed on the inside, and icy blue colors swirled around in it. This type of ball was farmiliar. This type of ball was a spirit stone.

What happens next? Chapter 2 coming later or tomorrow!
Here's a riddle to clue you in on chapter 2.
I am the darkest and evilest cell of Jamaa
Jammers are my enemies
Yet I am the one and only nice one of my kind
And an Alpha found a stone I left behind

Can you guess who left the spirit stone?

How To Make a Colored Background For Your Posts

Hi guys! Here's how to make the background of your posts colored! If you don't know what I mean, I mean how to make the blue color behind this text.

1. Log in to Blogger, and click template in the left corner of the page.

2. Click customize under "Live on Blog".

3. Click "Advanced" in the left corner of the page.

4. Scroll down, and click "Post Background".

5. Click the highlighted box under "Background Color" and change it to any color you want using the color wheel. Light colors work best, if you want a spooky twist in your blog, use black. Any dark color other than black doesn't contrast well. Don't click border color or bevel color, they can mess you up!

6. Once you've picked a background color, click "Page" in the left corner. Scroll up from post background so you can click it.
7. Red - These strange words are font names! If you don't know what font means, it's the shape of your text. Click a font name, and all your posts will be in that font! The best fonts are Coming Soon, Schoolbell, and Cherry Cream Soda in my opinion.
Pink - Click these arrows to scroll up and down through fonts.
Green - Change the background of your font. This ISN'T a post background, it's where you can choose for all your posts to be sort of "highlighted" with color. I suggest you click transparent and don't go with a background color, but I guess if you're looking for a funky theme, go for it.
Purple - Change the color of your font! If you used a light post background, choose a dark font color. If you used a black post background, choose any color that isn't dark!

8. Click the highlighted "Apply to Blog". This will save your post background and font designs. After a message pops up that says "Template Applied", click "Back to Blogger".

See you later! Have a funtastic time with your new design!
