Cosmo lead Peck through a forest full of tall trees and vines. Every so often a monkey would swing by, or a fox would dive into a hole. Finally, they reached a huge castle. No, not what you're thinking of. Not a pretty tower with shining marble walls and a drawbridge. A large castle with drooping towers and darkened stone walls. The castle looked as if it was haunted. Well, this castle wasn't exactly haunted. It was where the phantoms roamed. "Here's where the phantoms live. Does this place look friendly to you?", Cosmo said. Peck sighed. "I'm going in." "Wait-" But it was too late. Cosmo scrambled after Peck, the drawbridge creaking as he ran into the castle. It was very dark inside, this floor looked like a dungeon. There were tons of cells everywhere, with something or someone locked up behind it. One cell had rares locked up behind it, and others had jammers. Peck looked around. "Come here!", she yelped. "Quiet, they might hear us!" Cosmo replied, as he looked at what Peck found. There was a phantom behind a cell. Were phantoms locking up there own kind? Cosmo tried talking to it. "Huh, why are you behind here?" He said, though he wasn't sure phantoms spoke. "They locked me up because I secretly helped jammers. Hah, but yesterday I got revenge! I gave the spirit stone they stole back to an alpha! Haha!" Peck and Cosmo stared at the phantom for a long time. Peck was the first to speak up. "I'm the alpha you gave the spirit stone to. The only thing is, I don't have the powers to extract the spirit from the stone and free the animal into Jamaa." The phantom thought for a while. "Aha, I know who can help you!"
What will happen next? Here's a riddle on Chapter 5!
I am the darkest of phantoms
In fact, they worship me
For I am the evillest of the evil
And the mightiest of the mighty
I wouldn't help a single jammer
But I have a book
That could help extract the spirit
If you gave it a look.
Can you guess who can help Peck extract the spirit?
See you later! Check back soon for another chapter, and another mystery!
